Sam Sakocius / President
Sam Sakocius is an award winning Golf Development professional, mentor, author and executive. He is presently a principal owner of the consultancy, Project Control International LTD with 30+ years in the golf development industry
During the course of his career he has administered over 130 golf and resort development projects; several of these projects have won awards for top 10 best new developments in various publications including Golf Digest.
He has worked with all of the great designers working in the field today, including Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Nick Faldo (current), Gil Hanse (the Olympic Architect, current), Tom Fazio, to name a few.
Prior to establishing PCI, he successfully founded SAJO Construction, Inc. Sakocius built a company from two employees to over two hundred and fifty. He also established his company as a Certified Golf Course Builder by the Golf Course Builders Association of America and led SAJO to win the “1996 National Golf Course Builder of the Year Award.” During his tenure at SAJO Construction he was also featured on the cover of the Houston Business Journal in 1997. Sakocius helped pioneer Digital Terrain Modeling for the Golf Industry as well as other technological advances.
He has contributed to numerous articles relating to golf course development and golf development management which have appeared in Destination Golf, Golf Digest, Golf, Inc., Golf Course News, The Back 9 network and many other publications.
Sakocius has appeared on numerous panels and seminars discussing and teaching the principles of Golf Course Development and Construction Management, including the Golf, Inc. Show, the Golf Industry Show, American Society of Golf Course Architects seminars, and the Golf Course Builders Association of America.
He has worked with the University of Wisconsin as a guest lecturer and providing insight in the continued development of their Golf Enterprise Management Bachelor of Science Program.
Sakocius served for seven years on the Board of Directors of the Golf Course Builders Association of America and spearheaded the development of the GCAA standards and practices guidelines still in use today.
Over the past several years he has been living in China-Thailand while Advising and Consulting to numerous Golf Projects in South East Asia.

As the Managing Partner for Project Control International, Thomas brings over 25 years of Business Development, Project Management, Branding, Marketing and television production experience to the organization.
Zenta has resided in SE Asia for over half a decade and has overseen the implementation and operations of Project Control International’s consulting and management programs spanning 4 countries in SE Asia. In this period of time, She has also founded and overseen operations for Dragon Rock, LLC , a company dedicated to advising assisting Non-Asian Companies who wish to establish a presence in Asia without the expense, stress and steep learning curve that executive relocations bring.
In addition to program oversite for Project Control International, Ms Thomas’s mission is to identify and develop strategic alliances which are key to driving and maintaining long term business growth. Sun Jing comes to PCI with an International Business Degree from Yunnan University of Finance and Economics.
Sun Jing is experienced in the Chinese Banking Industry and with International Commerce. She has excellent English and analytical skills as well. This coupled with her extensive on the ground experience doing humanitarian volunteer work as well As research on a domestic and international level results in Jing being supremely qualified to adeptly handle the broad range of PCI, Qualitas, Beichen Kunming Consulting and Dragon Rock interests throughout SE Asia.
